· First Day to file for place on general election ballot: January 14, 2026 at 8am

· Last Day to file for place on general election ballot: February 13, 2026 at 4:30pm

· First Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail: January 1, 2026

· Last Day to Register to Vote: April 3, 2026                                                                                                           EARLY Voting: April 20-28, 2026 (8:00-4:30pm, Week days)

· Election Day: May 2, 2026: 7:00am - 7:00pm

Qualifications for Office

Mayor

· Residence: 1 year in state prior to the filing deadline; 1 year in city prior to Election Day

· Age: 18

· Must be a registered voter in territory elected from by the filing deadline


Council Member

· Residence: 1 year in state prior to filing deadline; 6 months in the city prior to filing deadline

· Age: 18

· Must be a registered voter in territory elected from by the filing deadline
