Harold Martin

Mayor Martin is responsible for day to day oversight of the City’s business. Harold retired from AEP whom he was employed with for over 35 years. His main duties as Mayor are to be fiscally responsible to the Citizens while overseeing operations of all departments of the City. Mayor Martin is an administrative supervisor for the Police Department, although he does not exercise Police Powers normally, he is allowed by law to do so in a state of emergency. Harold is a working man and can be seen not only on his normal job, but different locations around the City helping citizens as well as workers of the City when he is off duty. Mayor Martin has strived to bring new business to Queen City in order to lower property taxes while working to make Queen City a safer, more pleasant place to raise children.  Harold is on call for the City 24-7.

City council meetings are normally held the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
