FY2026-27 Tax Rates

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON BUDGET

The City Council for the City of Queen City, Texas will hold a public hearing on the 2026-2027 Fiscal Budget on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 5:45 p.m. at City Hall, 601 Loop 236, Queen City, TX. The meeting will be held for the purpose of receiving community input on the Budget, which will cover the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2026 and ending September 30, 2027. This budget will raise less revenue from property taxes than last year's budget by an amount of $42,9381, which is a 6.78 percent decrease from last year's budget. The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $9,670.19. City Hall is accessible to the disabled.
