NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The governing body of Queen City, TX will hold a public hearing on August 12, 2024, at 5:45 p.m. at Queen City, City Hall, 601 Loop 236, Queen City, TX 75572 to adopt the FY 2024-2025 Budget. All citizens are invited to attend and provide the city council with comments and questions related to the city’s proposed operating budget. This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year's budget by $30,087 which is a 5.18% increase, and of that amount $16,850.29 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year. The proposed budget will be on file with the City Secretary’s office.
